Andrew Cary is a product designer creating human centred solutions that drives meaningful change.

My approach delivers effective outcomes

I’m a UX product designer who thrives on solving complex problems that improve people’s lives through the design of thoughtful, effective products. By spending time with users and understanding their day-to-day experiences, I create empathetic, evidence-based workflows that reduce friction and help people achieve their goals with confidence. I help unify teams around a shared purpose to build alignment, collective ownership, and a culture of design thinking that drives impactful, innovative solutions.

Current focus

I lead a small product design team developing new SaaS products that improve how social care is delivered across the UK. We’re focused on creating modern, intuitive digital tools that support care providers and empower them to deliver safer, more efficient, and higher-quality care. By harnessing care data, we aim to enhance operations, track delivery and safety, and drive meaningful improvements for both providers and the people they support.

Design background

Before my current role, I enhanced the user experience of Opsview Monitor, modernising its front end and design language, and leading the redevelopment of its core Business Service Management product. I also helped elevate the company’s brand through web and marketing improvements that supported its acquisition by ITRS. Earlier, while agency-side, I earned recognition for award-winning, data-driven campaigns in the pharmaceutical sector for clients including GSK, ViiV Healthcare, and BMS. My early career shaped my interaction design skills through work with brands like Sony, Vodafone, and Tesco.
